President's Greeting

Whether you are a returning subscriber of the Oklahoma City Town Hall Lecture Series or joining for the first time, welcome to our 82nd season!  Our mission over the years has been to inform, enlighten and entertain you with a variety of timely topics

George Nigh will kick off our 2014-15 season in September with a look at Oklahoma history as seen through his eyes and as he lived it.  Our program in October, which will be on Tuesday the 21st, features Dr. Ben Carson formerly the head of Johns Hopkins pediatric neurosurgery.  He is a noted author, who raised himself from poverty and will share the greatness of America and how to keep it.

Our topic for November will focus on the 2014 mid-term elections with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard and Fox News sharing his views on what happened, why, and what to expect.

February 2015 will bring us Alice Schroeder, former managing director at Morgan Stanley and author of  "Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business Life".  She will discuss her book and also domestic and international financial markets.  John Miller, presently with the NYPD Counter Intelligence Unit and who was formerly with CBS and a foreign correspondent for over 20 years, will share his knowledge of international terrorism and what to expect in the future.

Rudy Maxa, well known travel writer with a NPR travel show as well as a weekly show shown on OETA, will share his extensive knowledge of where to travel and how to find the best values.

Plan now to join us for this exciting series.  I urge you to subscribe today!  You can enjoy all six lectures for only $75

We are so grateful to our corporate donors and all of you who generously contribute to our Speaker's Fund.  The quality of the speakers could not be maintained without you.  All contributions are tax deductible.  I look forward to sharing next year's series with you.
